Interim Statement on Caverton Helicopters 5N-CML

On the 2^nd of February 2019 at about 1434 h, an AgustaWestland AW39 Helicopter with nationality and registration marks 5N-CML, operated by Caverton Helicopters Limited on a charter VIP flight crashed in the football pitch at Kabba, Kogi state following the loss of external visual cues caused by Brownout, which set in during the final approach to land.

There were 12 persons on board, including three (3) crew and nine (9) passengers; all the twelve persons were evacuated un-injured.
